Open Your Heart
A Summer Yoga Retreat
Carla Wainwright, SOYA, ERYT, IYTA
August 27-29, 2010 ~ Wells, BC
The heart center is the seat of connection with our higher Self. When we connect with our heart and practice asanas with awareness, not only do we feel better but we are also better able to feel. We allow ourselves to become more sensitive to everything in our lives. As this sensitivity deepens and grows, a transformation occurs - we begin to practice asanas in such a way that we participate within the true essence of yoga: the discovery of our Self and our dharma (our fundamental purpose), while at the same time overcoming the obstacles that so frequently impede this journey.
Join Carla for an end of summer weekend retreat in beautiful Wells, BC where we will explore opening our hearts through a backbend focused asana practice along with mantra and meditation. By yoking our hearts and minds, we will allow our smaller self to reconnect once again with our true nature, our larger Self.
Schedule: From Friday, August 27th 5:30 pm to Sunday, August 29th 1:00 pm.
Cost: Before August 1 ~ $375 (includes all yoga, meals and accommodation at the beautiful Wells Hotel, based on double occupancy). After August 1 ~ $425. If no accommodation required ~ $260 ($310 after August 1).
